Rosemary E. (Gallo) Englert

Rosemary E. (Gallo) Englert, 87, widow of Deward E. “Skeeter” Englert, of 901 Brady St., Avis, PA passed away at home on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Born in Jersey Shore, PA on October 15, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Chiumenti) Gallo.

For many years she assisted in the kitchen with her daughter in the family restaurant.

She is survived by daughters Michele Liddic (Curt), Tina Prough (James Carman), Angel Darwin, Crystal Englert and Patricia Shoemaker (Erik) a son Lynn Englert (Lori), 26 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, brothers Fred Straub, David Straub, Henry Chiumenti and a sister Patricia Bilbay.

Along with her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son Richard “Rick” on October 6, 2006, a grandson Cody Englert and brothers Dick Gallo and Jeff Straub.
