James A. “Slim” Yeagle, 60, husband of Kelly L. (Stugart) Yeagle, of 76 Back Street, Montoursville, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 after a brief stay at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, PA.
Born in Williamsport, PA on December 31, 1964 he was the son of the late Robert L. and Olivia L. (Dawes) Yeagle.
He was a 1982 graduate of Montoursville High School, Montoursville, PA.
Kelly and Slim were wed on July 18, 2008 and shared over 17 years of marriage together.
Slim was an iron worker and had formerly been employed by Reynolds Iron Works of Williamsport from 2004-2023 and formerly employed by Lundy Construction Co. from 1983-2004.
He enjoyed shooting pool, NASCAR, the NHL especially the Philadelphia Flyers and Rock and Roll music.
Slim was an excellent provider to his family and a good friend to all that knew him.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Lena R. Yeagle of Williamsport, two step sons Seth S. Neitz (Jessica West) of Loyalsock and Daulton Hoff (Taylor Kozak) of Trout Run, a brother Robert L. Yeagle of Cogan Station, three sisters, Cheryl Stieve of Wisconsin, Cynthia Maiollo of Florida and Bonita Henley of Montoursville, four grandchildren, Andrew Hoff and Kamdyn, Koltyn and Kaysyn Neitz.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by a brother Randall Yeagle.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 2- 5 PM at American Legion Post # 104, 1312 Broad Street Montoursville, PA, a meal and refreshments will be served.
