To commence after 48 hours from the time of death

(Pennsylvania Rules and Regulations number 13.201 6 (i) requires than any human remains held 24 hours beyond death shall be embalmed or sealed in a container that will not allow fumes or odors to escape or kept under refrigeration, if this does not conflict with a religious belief or medical examination.)

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are:

Corrugated cremation container: $150.00

Upgraded Cremation Container “Dawson”: $1,395.00

Removal Vehicle and vehicle for return of cremated remains a charge of $3.00 per mile beyond

Death's occurring in a private home or Personal Care Facility additional $300.00

County coroner cremation authorization fee where death occurred 

Death certificates in the state of Pennsylvania @ $20.00 each

Arrangements made at ANY other location besides 408 S. Main Street, Jersey Shore, PA, such as but not limited to; a hospital, a residence, a hospice facility, etc. a charge of $300.00

Returning to a residence to complete arrangements $150.00

Obituary information collected, written and provided to newspaper(s) via email or fax a charge of $200.00

Weekend and Holiday Fees:Arrangements conducted on a Saturday, Sunday, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day or Observance of these holidays/weekends $300.00

RETURN OF CREMATED REMAINS

Picked up in 17740 area code within 30 days at no charge.

If not picked up within 30 days the cremated remains will be mailed via US Postal Service and a fee of $200.00 will be charged to the credit card on file.

If not picked up within 30 days and there is no credit card on file, there will be a storage service fee of $1.00 per day.

Personally hand delivered for $300.00 within a 50 mile radius.
